Welcome to Blank Library ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our app (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account or otherwise accessing or using the App, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of 13, you must obtain permission from a parent or guardian to use the App.

2. USE OF THE APP

The App is designed to provide personalized content, such as customized children's books. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.

  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the App's operation, including unauthorized access to systems or networks.

  • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate any person or entity, including by providing false information during account registration.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To use certain features of the App, you may need to register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information, including your name and email address.

  • Keep your account information up-to-date.

  • Safeguard your account login details and not share them with anyone.

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during registration or use of the App is inaccurate, false, or violates these Terms.

4. PERSONALIZED CONTENT

The App allows you to generate personalized content, such as books, based on the information you provide, including a child's name, age, and gender. You are responsible for ensuring that any information provided is accurate and appropriate. You are not required to input real or identifiable details about a child, and you may use fictional names or characters.

By using the App, you grant us the right to use this information to generate personalized content. We do not claim ownership of any personalized content you create, but we retain the right to use anonymized data for the purpose of improving the App.

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

The App may offer both free and paid features or content. Some features may require a subscription. By subscribing to any paid service, you agree to the terms of the payment plan, including fees, billing cycles, and cancellation policies.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as indicated at the time of purchase.

  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refunds will be provided for the remaining period.

6. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App, including its design, software, and all content provided by Blank Library (excluding AI-generated content based on user input), is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We retain all rights to the App and its associated materials, except for the content generated by users through the App's AI.

AI-Generated Content:
The content generated using the App’s AI is based on user inputs and is not owned or claimed by Blank Library. We do not assert any copyright or intellectual property rights over the content created by the AI. You are free to use, share, or modify the AI-generated content as you wish, but you are solely responsible for ensuring that the content does not:

  • Violate applicable laws, regulations, or third-party intellectual property rights.

  • Contain inappropriate, harmful, or offensive material.

User Responsibility:
By using the App, you agree not to use the AI to generate content that infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties. You are responsible for any legal consequences that arise from the content you create, and you agree to indemnify and hold Blank Library harmless from any claims or damages related to content generated through the App.

Safeguards:
We implement guardrails and safety measures to prevent the generation of inappropriate or infringing content. However, we do not guarantee that all content created will comply with legal or ethical standards. If we become aware of content that violates these Terms, we reserve the right to take action, including removing the content or suspending your account.

7. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe that you have violated these Terms or engaged in any unlawful or inappropriate behavior. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and any personalized content you have generated.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, either express or implied, regarding the operation, availability, accuracy, or reliability of the App. You use the App at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blank Library and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App, if any, or $50, whichever is greater.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Blank Library. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Your use of third-party websites or services is at your own risk.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App, and the "Last Updated" date will be modified accordingly. Your continued use of the App after any changes to the Terms signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Singapore.
